Sources: Rochdale agree to sign Coleman from Fleetwood
Rochdale have agreed to sign Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Joel Coleman on a free transfer, Football Insider understands.
The 25-year-old has not featured in the league for Fleetwood since moving from Huddersfield Town last summer.
A Rochdale source has told Football Insider he is now set to join the League Two club.
Coleman will leave Highbury with just two appearances in cup competitions in his only season at the club.
Alex Cairns, 28, looks set to be Simon Grayson’s first-choice stopper for the new season.
Grayson has already bolstered his goalkeeping ranks with the signing of Harry Wright from Ipswich Town.

Fleetwood also have academy graduate Billy Crelin on the books.
Meanwhile, Jay Lynch is the only Rochdale goalkeeper with senior experience.
The 28-year-old played 17 times in League One last season as the Dale suffered relegation.
Gavin Bazunu spent the first half of the season as first-choice before his loan spell ended.
The Manchester City ace, 19, then joined Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Rochdale also have youngsters Bradley Wade and Ben Charlton as alternatives.
However, new manager Robbie Stockdale will be hoping Coleman can immediately challenge Lynch.
Coleman has good experience in League One with Oldham Athletic.
He began his career with the Latics where he kept 20 clean sheets in 50 games in the third-tier.
His performances earned him a move to Huddersfield but he failed to establish himself as the number one in Yorkshire.
In other news, Rochdale have agreed to sign a Birmingham City star.
