Celtic star Tom Rogic is set to push for an exit this summer after another season in and out of the team, Football Insider understands.

The attacking midfielder, 28, has started the last two matches and scored and assisted in Wednesday's 4-0 win at St Mirren.

But Rogic is expected to look to be part of the mass exodus of senior stars during a summer that will bring the biggest overhaul of the Celtic playing squad in a decade.

A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Lennon and the hierarchy are expecting Rogic to try and find a new club after coming close to securing a move to the Middle East last summer.

The Scottish giants valued the left-footed playmaker at around £8million at the end of 2019.

But his valuation has crashed along with many other Celtic players on the back of a calamitous campaign as well as football's tighter finances.

The Hoops are likely to cash in on the Australia international if they receive a bid of around £2m.

Rogic is regarded as a huge talent and as one of the most technically gifted players in the squad.

But the 46-times international has suffered with knee problems throughout his career and regularly misses big chunks of matches every season.

Celtic

He is a big favourite with Celtic supporters for his matchwinning qualities as well as ability to produce spectacular moments.

Rogic has made just eight league starts among 23 appearances in all competitions this season, which have yielded two goals and four assists.
