Sources: Steve Cotterill set to leave Shrewsbury Town
Manager Steve Cotterill is set to leave Shrewsbury Town, sources have told Football Insider.
Cotterill’s future has been in doubt after the club recently announced that they were undergoing a re-structure with a new football board coming in.
The new board have decided to part ways with Cotterill as they plan to bring in a new manager ahead of next season.
Shrewsbury finished in 12th place in League One last season with 59 points from their 46 games.
Former Birmingham City and Bristol City boss Cotterill has been in charge of Shrewsbury since November 2020.
