Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay could still stay at Man United next season, sources have told Football Insider.

The Red Devils will consider selling the pair for the right fee but won't force them out of Old Trafford this summer.

Football Insider has learned that if United don't receive a suitable offer for Maguire and McTominay, the pair will stay in Manchester.

Manager Erik ten Hag wants new signings in midfield and the sales of the duo would help facilitate squad additions.

McTominay has been attracting interest from several Premier League sides including Everton, West Ham and Newcastle United.

Earlier this year (26 May), Football Insider revealed that the 26-year-old told friends he wants to leave United for the good of his career.

The midfielder saw limited game time in the 2022-23 campaign and is ready to move on from Manchester if necessary for the sake of his future.

Teammate Harry Maguire is attracting similar interest from the English top flight and the Hammers have already seen a £20million bid rejected for the 30-year-old.

Man United

On 2 August, Football Insider exclusively revealed that the Red Devils are ready to sell the centre-back to the highest bidder.

The England international is on big wages and is believed to be keen to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place in the starting XI which could make a deal for any interested club difficult.
