Sources: Southampton and Norwich lead Armstrong race as price tag revealed
Norwich City and Southampton lead the race to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong, Football Insider understands.
Multiple Premier League clubs have been linked with the forward, 24, after his goal-drenched 2020-21 campaign.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider Norwich and Southampton have registered their interest in Armstrong and are the most keen to sign him this summer.
Rovers are willing to sell the former Newcastle United star if a club meets their £15million asking price.
Armstrong enters the final year of his Blackburn Rovers contract next month.
As revealed by Football Insider on April 6th, Everton are among the top-flight clubs keen on the hitman after his fine 2020/21 campaign.

The former England under-21 international scored 28 goals in 40 Championship appearances for Rovers.
His performances saw him beat the likes of Ivan Toney, Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia to the PFA Fans Player of the Year award.
However, his contract situation means Rovers face cashing in this summer or risk losing him on a free next year.
Armstrong arrived at Ewood Park from boyhood club Newcastle back in 2018.
He has scored 64 times in 160 games for the Lancashire outfit.
His displays have led to newly-promoted Norwich City and Premier League mainstays Southampton registering interest.
The Saints are in the market for a new centre-forward to compete with Danny Ings, Che Adams and Michael Obafemi.
Meanwhile, Norwich have Pukki, Jordan Hugill and Adam Idah as their centre-forward options.
Armstrong has 15 Premier League appearances under his belt from his time at Newcastle.
However, only one of those came among the starting XI.
