This news comes after Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici was forced to step back from his duties after he was handed a worldwide football ban by Fifa.
Spurs have also recently dispensed with manager Antonio Conte, placing Cristian Stellini in charge until the end of the season.

The Lilywhites’ manager search will have also been complicated by Chelsea’s sacking of Graham Potter – which leaves the London rivals targeting the same names.
