Sources: West Ham close in on two new signings after late-night Filip Kostic talks
West Ham boss David Moyes is pushing hard to sign wing-back Flip Kostic as the club finalise the capture of forward Gianluca Scamacca on Tuesday, sources have told Football Insider.
Scamacca, 23, will undergo a medical and sign a contract with the Premier League club on Tuesday morning before being confirmed as a new signing.
Moyes is also pushing hard to bring in a new left wing-back and Frankfurt’s Kostic, 29, is his top target.
Talks have stalled as the German club do not want to lose the Serbia international, who has an outstanding scoring and creating record from a wing-back berth.
But Moyes held new talks with Kostic on Monday in an attempt to persuade him to make the move to the Premier League.
He has entered the final year of his contract with Frankfurt.

One deal that will get done is Scamacca’s arrival from Sassuolo, with the striker having already jetted into London.
The seven-time Italy international scored 16 goals in 36 Serie A outings last season – and will provide much-needed competition for Michail Antonio at the London Stadium.
The Jamaica international was West Ham’s only senior striking option during the 2021-22 campaign – and subsequently suffered with injury and fatigue throughout the campaign.
Kostic would also represent a significant upgrade on current left-sided option Aaron Cresswell – who was sent off in back-to-back crucial Europa League ties against Lyon and Frankfurt last term.
The Serbian ace notched seven goals and 15 assists across 42 games in all competitions for Frankfurt – who won the Europa League.
West Ham, who will play Europa Conference League football this term, start their Premier League campaign against Man City on 7 August.
They have completed deals for Nayef Aguerd and Flynn Downes so far this summer.
