West Ham are among three Premier League clubs plotting moves for Brazil striker Yuri Albertosources have told Football Insider.

The Londoners have held a long-term interest in the Corinthians forward, while two other English top-flight clubs are also monitoring his situation.

Football Insider understands that intermediary Emmanuel Adewole has been mandated to sound out interest in the player from Premier League clubs.

David Moyes is keen to bring a new forward to the London Stadium this summer and believes Alberto is a player that has lofty potential and can grow to become a Hammers star.

The 22-year-old is highly rated in South America after shining for Corinthians over the past two seasons.

Alberto has scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in total for Corinthians in 63 appearances across all competitions.

Corinthians currently find themselves just above the relegation zone in the 2023 season, sitting 15th in the table after 14 games.

Despite the club's disappointing campaign, Alberto has scored seven and assisted seven across all competitions.

He started his career at Brazilian side Santos and moved to Internacional in 2020, before signing a five-year deal with Russian Premier League side Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Alberto helped Zenit to win the 2021/22 league title in Russia before heading back to Brazil to join Corinthians.

Alberto initially signed with Corinthians on loan in June 2022, and his move was made permanent in January 2023 when he signed a five-year deal with the club.
