Sources: Willock packs his bags and ready to join Newcastle after agreement reached
Joe Willock is expected to complete a move from Arsenal to Newcastle United in the coming days, Football Insider understands.
The goalscoring midfielder has his bags packed and ready to head to St James’ Park permanently after his outstanding loan spell last season.
A source with knowledge of Willock’s situation has told Football Insider that all parties expect the negotiations over his personal terms to result in an imminent contract agreement.
The sticking point has been the length of the contract, and how that is structured.
Once that hurdle is cleared the transfer is expected to go through and for Willock to link up with Newcastle permanently.
They have already had a bid worth £25million including add-ons accepted by Arsenal, who have granted Willock permission to discuss personal terms.

The Londoners made it clear they wanted a permanent sale rather than a repeat of last season’s loan.
They are keen to use the cash to sign an attacking midfielder, with James Maddison and Martin Odegaard their top targets.
Arsenal have already had a number of Maddison player-plus-cash bids rejected by Leicester City.
Willock joined Newcastle on loan in February and played a huge role in the club’s survival bid.
He scored an impressive eight goals in his 14 outings for the Magpies, with seven of those coming in his last seven games as they avoided the drop.
On 22nd April, this site revealed that Willock told his Newcastle teammates he wanted to sign permanently after dazzling in the north-east.
