Player passes Tottenham medical and waits for green light to complete move - report

By Joe Nelson

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is currently stuck in a hotel in England waiting for the green light to complete his move to Tottenham, according to a report.

La Provence claim N’Koudou passed a Spurs medical on 20 July and, after returning to France to train with his club Marseille, has now returned to the UK.

Winger N’Koudou has been strongly linked with an £11million transfer to White Hart Lane over the last fortnight, with Clinton N’jie heading the other way.

It has Tottenham have not yet announced the N’Koudou deal because N’jie is currently waiting on the renewal of his working visa in France.

The Mirror claimed that N’Jie will leave Spurs initially on loan to Marseille with a view to a £7million permanent move that will be triggered by a number of easily-achievable milestones.

Sky Sports reported on their website  that the 22-year-old has already completed a medical with the Ligue 1 club.

The delay has had the knock-on effect of also holding up the transfer of N’Koudou to White Hart Lane. La Provence state that N’Koudou has already agreed terms of a five-year contract with Tottenham.
