Stan Collymore delivers scathing assessment of Liverpool defenders after Leicester defeat
By Ami Mir
Stan Collymore delivered a scathing assessment of the Liverpool defenders by stating they were “towing a caravan” during their 3-1 defeat at Leicester on Monday night.
The former Premier League striker didn’t name the two players he was talking about but is seems as though he was hinting at centre-back duo Lucas Leiva and Joel Matip.
The duo produced a poor display at the King Power as their team missed the chance to move into the top four.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had a 16-day break prior to this game, while their struggling opponents lost an FA Cup game, Champions League match and saw their title winning manager sacked.
As a result, the home team produced a brilliant energetic display as the Reds were blown away by the relegation strugglers.

After that defeat, it means Klopp’s side have won only one game since the turn of the year, beating Tottenham prior to the match against the Foxes.
They remain in fifth place after that result as they will host Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal at Anfield on March 4.
The Merseyside club have conceded 33 goals during their 26 games this term, the most of any top six side.
In other Liverpool news, supporters urge Jurgen Klopp to sell this senior duo after the defeat against Leicester.
