Stan Collymore has delivered a scathing verdict of Aston Villa by stating they could be in “trouble” within the next 12 months following their 3-0 defeat at Brentford on Tuesday night.
Former Premier League striker Collymore hinted that the Midlands club could be in a relegation battle very soon if they don’t “get it right”.
Steve Bruce’s men were hammered by Dean Smith’s side as they fell further away from the promotion pack.
They are ten points away from sixth-placed Derby after 28 league games but the Rams were below Bruce’s side when McClaren took over in October.
The performance by Villa against the Bees did not impress former player Collymore, who had this to say on his personal Twitter account.
