Stan Collymore has unveiled a Twitter plan to rescue Aston Villa

By Harvey Byrne

Stan Collymore posted a message on Twitter telling West Ham that they need to get used to their new stadium quickly.

The Hammers suffered a 4-2 defeat at the London Stadium on Saturday against Watford after taking an early 2-0 lead.

The Hornets fought back after two goals from Michail Antonio put West Ham ahead, but goals from Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney, Etienne Capoue and Jose Holebas ensured Walter Mazzarri’s side left London with three points.

Former Liverpool and Aston Villa player Collymore, posted a sarcastic message to the east London side on his personal Twitter account before stating that they needed to get used to their new mega stadium.

“Come and enjoy yourselves at our shiny new stadium! They need to get used to it and quick,” said the controversial talkshow host on the social media platform.

The match against Watford was Slaven Bilic’s fourth competitive encounter in their new home.

They have played out two victories against Bournemouth and Slovenian side NK Domzale, while also suffering two defeats against Astra Giurgiu and Watford.

The match against Mazzarri’s side has left them in 17th place after four matches in the Premier League, while Bilic’s men were also knocked out of the Europa League at the qualification stage in a poor start to the new campaign.
