Stan Collymore predicts where Liverpool will finish and PL top four outcome
By Danny Wright
Stan Collymore has predicted that Liverpool will finish in the top four of the Premier League with a final day win over Middlesbrough.
The 46-year-old believes that Jurgern Klopp will mastermind a 3-1 victory over a relegated Boro side at Anfield on Sunday, which will be enough to see the Reds qualify for the Champions League.
Collymore, who spent two years on the books with Liverpool, did his weekly Premier League predictions on his personal Twitter account on Friday.
Liverpool 3 Boro 1
Man Utd 1 Palace 0
Southampton 2 Stoke 1
Swansea 2 West Brom 2
Watford 0 Man City 2

He also predicts that Manchester City would win 2-0 at Watford, which would mean that the Reds will finish the 2017/18 Premier League season in fourth place and would have to enter the Champions League at the qualification phases.
A top three spot guarantees a place in the group stages of the competition while fourth means that Liverpool, if Collymore is right, would have to play a two-leg play-off fixture in order to ensure their name is in the pot for the crucial round.

This also means that Arsenal would fail to finish in the top four for the first time in Arsene Wenger’s long reign as manager.
If Collymore’s version of events turns out to be correct, Liverpool would finish on 76 points – a figure which has only been surpassed once in the current decade.
The outcome of these predictions means that the top four would be Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool.
