Stan Collymore predicts Tottenham v Bournemouth

By Danny Wright

Stan Collymore has predicted that Tottenham will ease to a comfortable victory against Bournemouth on Saturday.

The ex-Liverpool and Aston Villa star said on his personal Twitter account that he thinks Spurs will come away with a big 3-0 win.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side would move to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea if Collymore’s prediction comes true.

Chelsea don’t play until Sunday and could find themselves under pressure to maintain their seven point lead in a tough trip to face Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Pochettino is boosted by the expected return of both Harry Kane and Victor Wanyama to take on the Cherries.

The Argentine will also know that history is on his side as the south coast club have only ever beat Spurs once in their history – a 3-1 win in the 1957 FA Cup.

Since then Tottenham haven’t lost to Eddie Howe’s side. They won their two meetings last season, scoring eight goals in the process, but were held to a goalless draw back in October.

Bournemouth are 15th in the Premier League table with 35 points.

They haven’t won in their last three games and go to White Hart Lane knowing that Spurs are the only team that have not lost a home game this season.
