Sutton aims fresh dig at Caixinha as Celtic prepare for clash v PSG
By Danny Wright
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has again made a dig at Pedro Caixinha’s previous comment that his Rangers squad is the best in Scotland.
The Ibrox manager said in August that his side is superior all other clubs in the Scottish Premiership, including Celtic, who won the domestic treble without a single defeat last term.
Sutton, who makes no secret of his animosity towards Rangers, has constantly quizzed Caixinha about his outlandish claim and the pair even had a heated argument with each other on live television.
The Hoops are preparing for their Champions League group stage opener against Paris-Saint Germain on Tuesday night and manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted prior to kick-off, as quoted on the club’s official Twitter account, that the French side are “a team who are superior” to his.

That has led Sutton to take to his personal Twitter account and again bring up Caixinha’s old comment about his side.

Celtic will be going into Tuesday night’s clash off the back of easing to a 4-1 win at Hamilton on Friday night as they put themselves top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The Light Blues also kept up their return to form by beating Dundee at Ibrox by the same result.
