Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to begin talks with Barcelona within 24 hours, according to a report.
Italian news outlet Tuttomercato claimed on Wednesday night that Pochettino is set to meet with Barcelona chiefs within 24 hours in a bid to lure him back to Spain in the summer.
The report also states that the Tottenham boss is seen as a ‘hot and concrete idea’ for the Spanish club, who are also believed to be keen on Everton chief Ronald Koeman.
Pochettino has emerged as one of the favourites to become the next Barcelona boss, after it was confirmed on Wednesday that current Nou Camp chief Luis Enrique will be leaving his post at the end of the season.
Pochettino has worked wonders at White Hart Lane since his arrival in 2014, but has yet to secure the silverware to match his transformation of the first-team squad.

He has masterminded the rise of a number of hot prospects in recent seasons, including both Dele Alli and Harry Kane, who are now viewed as two of England’s, and Europe’s, brightest talents.
The Argentine boss has also helped establish Tottenham as a genuine contender for both Champions League billing and the Premier League title.
With the north London club currently second in the division, Pochettino looks set to guide them to back-to-back top-four finishes – having finished third in the 2015-16 season.
Pochettino began his management career in Spain with Espanyol, who are Barcelona’s arch-rivals, but his previous ties to the club are not likely to deter Barcelona in their hid to make the Tottenham chief their next manager.
