A ‘Super Computer’ tasked with the job of predicting the Championship’s finish has placed Leeds in sixth place.
TalkSPORT have provided a February update on their feature as the popular radio station uses a computer they can feed data into in an attempt to find out how the second tier will end up.
It is felt that Leeds would certainly accept a sixth placing with 13 matches left of the season, but at this moment in time they are sat in fifth.
Fans would still be overjoyed after a number of disastrous years since their relegation from the Premier League in 2004, which has even seen them drop down to League One.
They last finished in the play-off places in 2006, but they will be keen to do better this time out as they made it to the final at the Millennium Stadium before falling to a 3-0 defeat against Watford.
Garry Monk and his side have certainly far exceeded pre-season expectations after Steve Evans finished with the club in 13th place in the last campaign.
The Yorkshire giants’ next game will put them up against Sheffield Wednesday who are only below them on goals scored and it could prove a crucial encounter in the near top of the table battle.
In other Leeds news, this long-term absentee will return to training on Tuesday.
