Tanguy Ndombele and Tottenham teammate told to go on gardening leave after news - expert
Tottenham should place Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso on gardening leave if they return to the club in the summer.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Lo Celso, 26, won the player of the match award as Villarreal beat Bayern Munich 1-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday (6 April).
Ndombele, 25, also impressed for Lyon, scoring as they drew 1-1 with West Ham in the Europa League on Thursday (7 April).
Both players left on loan in January after failing to impress Antonio Conte.
As such, if either player returns to the club in the summer, Wenham doesn’t want them anywhere near the first-team squad.

“I want them getting man of the match every week, I want people uploading Ndombele rabona compilations,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I don’t know how Lo Celso is getting man of the match against Bayern but there we go.
“It’s all good news, keep doing it. If we don’t have deals lined up for them when they return, I would put them both on gardening leave while their futures are sorted out.
“I really don’t want negative energy coming back to the club. Conte is building something here and I don’t want them interfering with that.”
Lo Celso made 19 appearances for Tottenham in the first half of this season.
Ndombele made 16 appearances, scoring twice.
