'Terrific bit of business' - Celtic fans react to reported hunt for £40,000-a-week attacker
Celtic fans have been reacting on social media to the news that the Hoops are attempting to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Charly Musonda.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the 21-year-old is close to joining the Bhoys on an 18-month-loan deal, with Brendan Rodgers wanting the deal completed by Monday.
The Belgian attacking midfielder featured for the Stamford Bridge side in their recent 4-0 win over Brighton but manager Antonio Conte is set to let the player leave as he looks for regular first-team football.
Celtic supporters seem excited at the prospect of such a highly-rated prospect arriving in Glasgow.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the potential Musonda transfer:
Charly Musonda Jr on an 18-month loan is exactly what we need.
People may devalue "loan deal again" but the boy has real class. Would be a terrific bit of business for 1.5 years. Hoping this one gets done after it fell apart in the summer!

Charly Musonda is rated FAR higher in England than what Patrick Roberts is/was. Take that as you will

An 18-month loan deal for Charly Musonda would be a great bit of business. He has just signed a new 5-year contract at Chelsea and certainly has a massive future ahead of him.

Charly Musonda would be some signing , not getting too excited until he’s actually standing in a Celtic shirt but he’s real quality. #Celtic

If Musonda joins the Hoops Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he will be able to provide the guile and craft that the Bhoys have been lacking since the injuries suffered by Tom Rogic and Patrick Roberts.
Belgian news outlet HLN has reported that the Chelsea attacker is earning £40,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge but would rather make a move to Spain or Germany instead of Glasgow.
To matters on the park, and the Celts are back in league duty on Saturday as they take on Neil Lennon’s Hibernian, looking to maintain their 11 point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Bhoys have drawn both league games against the Edinburgh side so far this season, and will be looking to go one better at the third attempt.
