That's coming from an ex-Arsenal man - Merson makes big claim about Tottenham player

Paul Merson has claimed that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is the best striker in the Premier League over Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
Kane, 24, has been in hot form since bursting on to the scene in North London, winning the golden boot award in the last two seasons as Spurs launched serious challenges for the title.
Sky Sports have been comparing Kane and Aguero with Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata to see who the best forward that is currently plying his trade in England’s top flight.
And ex-Arsenal attacker Merson is sure that the Tottenham player is the man who stands out above all the rest due to his consistency and ability to score in big games.
“I’m going to go for Kane. I think he’s got everything. He plays up front on his own, he brings other players into the game. Don’t get me wrong I’m a big Aguero fan, but if I’m going one up top away from home then Kane is the one who can hold his own,” he said, as quoted on the Sky Sports website.

“He has a fantastic temperament as well, he plays all the time and scores important goals, whereas Aguero will get four goals against weaker teams or score later in games. That’s coming from a former Arsenal man so that’s how highly I think of him.
“I don’t think Lukaku has the all-round game. He’ll score if you put it in the box but he doesn’t bring other players in. Morata looks like a proper player but he’s still got a lot to prove.”
It’s always a big claim to say who is the best at something, but Kane’s record speaks for itself in recent years as he has proven to be a major driving force behind Tottenham’s rise up the standings of English football.
The England international has already started this season on a similar note after his annual August drought, scoring six goals in seven games across all competitions – including a brace against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Next up for Spurs is a group stage trip to Cyprus to play APOEL Nicosia on Tuesday night.
In other Tottenham news, Frank Lampard believes these two Spurs players will quit if they don’t win silverware soon.
