Football Insider takes a look at three senior players who could leave Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been a flop since joining Arsenal in July 2013 and he has made just 19 first team appearances, spending the majority of his Gunners career on loan. The striker has struggled with injuries too but it’s extremely unlikely he will get into the side ahead of Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Lucas Perez and Danny Welbeck.
The England international, 24, has been excellent for Bournemouth since joining them on a season-long loan in the summer and he could join them permanently in January, despite Arsene Wenger making it clear he sees a future for Wilshere. The midfielder has always been highly rated but injuries have stalled what had the potential to be a blistering career for Wilshere. He has now found regular first team football and would struggle to start for Arsenal so he could opt for an earlier exit than planned.
The defender has failed to impress this season despite being given an opportunity when Hector Bellerin’s injury paved way for the 24-year-old. He was poor against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain before being dropped from the squad altogether for the clash against Bournemouth and Gabriel has since kept his place in the team ahead of Jenkinson.
In other Arsenal news, this is the expected starting XI to face Everton.
