Three Celtic men set to follow Postecoglou to Tottenham after Sky update - pundit

Ange Postecoglou is set to take his Celtic assistants when he leaves for Tottenham.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Rangers and Spurs defender Alan Hutton has heard that Postecoglou also wants to take one of the analysts who was alongside him at Parkhead when he moves south of the border.

The Hoops have confirmed the Australian would be leaving the club to take charge of Tottenham.

According to Sky Sports (7 July), assistant John Kennedy is one of the names that could follow Postecoglou to London, with coach Gavin Strachan and analyst Greg Wallace also potential departures.

Hutton wouldn’t be surprised if the Hoops lose several backroom staff members alongside their manager this summer.

I think there is a chance that he will take them,” he told Football Insider.

He obviously came in to Celtic on his own and he has probably made close bonds with the staff. I have heard that he is possibly taking one of his analysts.

So I think there will be conversations between Ange and those guys because he must feel comfortable around them and comfortable enough that he wants to take them to the next level.

There is a lot of ifs, buts and maybes but I think he does feel comfortable with those guys round him. Going into a job like Tottenham you need your own guys to come in and help because it is such a big club that needs quite a big rebuild.

It is going to be a tough job for him so he needs those guys around him.
