Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to thank Rio Ferdinand after the former Manchester United defender boldly claimed that the Tottenham ace is the best striker in world football.
Kane, 24, has been in lethal form this season, scoring a whopping 33 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions.
The England international was in fine form on Tuesday night too when Spurs rescued a 2-2 draw away at Juventus in the Champions League.
When asked by Gary Lineker, as shown on BT Sport Football’s official Twitter account, Ferdinand made it clear that he believes Kane is by far and away the best centre-forward on the planet, claiming that the Tottenham star has “got it all”.
"Who's the best striker in the world?"

Kane has found the net in each of his last three outings across all competitions, all against top sides.
He was on target in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool before scoring the only goal of the game in the North London derby win over Arsenal at the weekend.
The centre-forward’s strike against Juve on Tuesday night helped Spurs on their way to a massive 2-2 draw in Turin, meaning that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have a big advantage in the second leg in Wembley with two away goals.
