Tottenham fans took to social media to voice their frustration at the performance of midfielder Moussa Sissoko in their League Cup clash against Barnsley.
The French international kept his place in the starting line up after featuring against Swansea on Saturday as Mauricio Pochettino made six changes to his side.
However, the 28-year-old was unable to make much of an impact in the first half as the two sides went in to half time level at 0-0, Sissoko having the last shot as he blazed over.
As a result, fans turned to Twitter to give their opinion on how the versatile midfielder had performed, and it was not good reading for the Frenchman.
Here, Football Insider has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:
Time to take Sissoko off and give N'Koudou some minutes.

This is a game that sissoko should be thriving in, but sounds like he's being as clumsy as ever?

Since joining Spurs from Newcastle United in a £30million deadline day transfer back in 2016, the 52-time-capped international has failed to live up to his price tag.
He has managed to make just 40 appearances, many of which have come from the substitutes bench, while he has failed to find the back of the net for the Lilywhites, providing just four assists during his time at the club.
However he has seen himself involved in each of Spurs’ six games across all competitions this season, with three starts and three substitute appearances.
