Tottenham have confirmed that Victor Wanyama is available for selection for Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old has missed the last two matches with a lower back injury.

Spurs’ official Twitter account confirmed the news on Thursday and it will be a massive boost to their chances against Eddie Howe’s team given the form he’s been in this season.

Before breaking down in the 2-0 win at Burnley, the midfielder had started every Premier League game for Spurs.

Across all competitions, the 44-time Kenyan international has scored three goals in 39 appearances becoming a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in his debut season in north London.

The ex-Southampton and Celtic 25-year-old has formed a crucial partnership with Mousa Dembele in the middle of the Spurs midfield and has helped his side launch a late attack on Chelsea’s grip of the league title.

Tottenham could move to within four points of Antonio Conte’s side if results go their way this weekend.

Chelsea have a tough trip to Manchester United to contend with on Sunday in what could prove to be a pivotal fixture in deciding the outcome of the league title.

Spurs are on 68 points and have not lost a single game at White Hart Lane in what is the final season they’ll play in their historic stadium.
