This is when Tottenham could sack Nuno after new twist reported - pundit
Tottenham will likely sack Nuno Espirito Santo if they are not in the top six come the end of the season.
So says ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Nuno’s Spurs contract.
The Athletic reported on 4 October that Spurs are not obliged to pay him any compensation if he is sacked after failing to achieve a top-six finish.
The Portuguese manager signed a two-year deal when he was appointed over the summer.
This site revealed on 4 October that director Steve Hitchen has washed his hands of the appointment process, which was led by Fabio Paritici.
Spurs finished 7th in the Premier last season and are currently 8th after seven matches in 2021-22.

Kenny is not confident that Nuno can steer Tottenham into the top six and suggests his job could therefore be at risk.
“A lot of teams get stung by giving managers long contracts,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“Managers come and go inside 12 months these days and then you have to pay them off. So it’s good from Spurs’ point of view.
“Maybe Nuno is confident they are going to finish inside the top six anyway.
“But I’m sure Nuno will be struggling for his job if they don’t finish in the top six.
“I’d be surprised if they do manage to make that top six based on what we’ve seen this season.“
