Tottenham duo in bust-up - Sky

Erik Lamela and Heung-Min Son had an argument over who should take Tottenham’s penalty in their 2-0 win over Manchester City on Saturday.
Footage from broadcaster Sky Sports showed the Spurs duo fighting over spot-kick duties after Dele Alli was bundled over in the box in the second half.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were already 2-0 ahead at that point as they closed in on the victory that would take them back to second in the Premier League and secure their position as the division’s only unbeaten side.
A Dele Alli strike and an own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov put Spurs in complete control but it could have been even greater had Lamela dispatched his spot-kick, which will be remembered more for the embarrassing disagreement in the build-up than a fine save by City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
Lamela grabbed the ball instantly following the award of the penalty but Son tried to take it from him and an argument ensued before the South Korean forward was pulled away.

Bravo went the right way and supporters were left asking why in-form Son, who had bagged five goals in five matches before Sunday’s clash and had been selected to spearhead the attack ahead of Vincent Janssen, did not take the spot-kick ahead of Lamela, who had not scored since the opening day of the season.
Spurs’ win means they now sit just one point behind leaders Manchester City after accumulating 17 points from their eight league matches this season.
