Tottenham expert shares 'really exciting' Sam Amo-Ameyaw claim - 'he'll be a major player'
Samuel Amo-Ameyaw will be a “major player” for the Tottenham Under 18 side next season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Amo-Ameyaw, 15, played for England Under 16s during an international break earlier this month.
In September, Football Insider revealed Tottenham have offered a scholarship contract to the schoolboy sensation and it is understood he is held in high regard at the club’s Hotspur Way headquarters.
Wenham is expecting Amo-Ameyaw to play a big role next season and claimed he could even play for the Under 23s.
“He’s 15-year’s-old but he’s a late 15, he doesn’t turn 16 until June,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“As we know, he already has that scholarship and I think he will be a major player for the Under 18s next year.
“He is a really exciting flying winger but can also play in that number 10 role.
“He is a really exciting player for us, he’s one I will definitely be keeping an eye on next season.
“I actually think he has a decent chance of making his Under 23s debut next season which would be really impressive for a 16-year-old, as he will be when that opportunity comes.”
Tottenham typically offer scholarships around February or March, with the deals then starting on 1 June.
Amo-Ameyaw has made eight appearances in the Under 18 Premier League this season, registering one assist.
