Tottenham eye £13m+ international dreaming of PL switch, could be available in summer - report
Tottenham are in the hunt to sign Werder Bremen midfielder Thomas Delaney, according to a report.
German newspaper BILD claims on their website that Delaney, 26, is dreaming of moving to the Premier League and he could be allowed to move on in the summer.
It is understood that Delaney would cost Spurs at least £13million if they wanted to pry him away from Werder Bremen, who may have already signaled to the midfielder that he could go for a decent fee in the summer.
The Denmark international has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and supplying four assists in the process.
He can play in any kind of central midfield role, whether it be defensive or attacking.

Delaney has proven himself to be a capable performer in the Bundesliga, but he is not exactly someone who would improve on what Mauricio Pochettino already has in his squad. At £13million, a full international with bags of experience from one of Europe’s major leagues is a bit of a steal but Spurs need to try and improve the first-team now, rather than adding back-up to it. The central midfield position is one that can definitely be built on. There are better options than Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama out there for Spurs to go and get. Delaney is not one of them.
