'Garbage', 'Liability' - Tottenham fans annihilate one player despite win v Rochdale
Tottenham fans annihilated goalkeeper Michel Vorm on Twitter for his performance in the 6-1 win against Rochdale at Wembley on Wednesday night.
In an extremely controversial snow-hit game, Vorm, 34, earned just his ninth appearance of the season as Mauricio Pochettino decided to make wholesale changes to his starting line-up.
Vorm looked a bit shaky all night and Spurs fans believed that the Dutchman should have done better to stop Stephen Humphrys from scoring in the 31st minute to ensure Rochdale went in at half-time level at 1-1.
One angry Spurs fan claimed that the senior player was “garbage” in goals.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

I’d have gazzaniga in goal ahead of vorm every time. He played great on debut and vorm is a liability. #spurs

Has Vorm ever kept a clean sheet for us? ???? #COYS #THFC

Spurs fans questioning whether Vorm has kept a clean sheet for the club will be shocked to know that he has achieved four this season in his nine appearances across all competitions.
The former Swansea goalkeeper is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been reports in the media suggesting that he is wanted by Dutch Eredivisie champions Feyenoord in the summer.
Tottenham will now play Swansea away at the Liberty Stadium in the next round of the FA Cup.
A win against the Welsh side, who knocked out Sheffield Wednesday in a replay on Tuesday, will ensue Pochettino’s men of a semi-final on what has been home soil for them this year at Wembley.
