'Poisonous', 'Lack of class' - Tottenham fans go berserk after 27-year-old revelation
By Danny Wright
In a revealing interview, Danny Rose has admitted that he isn’t happy about his situation at Tottenham – and fans have taken to Twitter to rage at the left-back’s comments.
Speaking to the Sun, Rose has confessed that he is looking to secure a move up north once his time at Spurs is over, as well as making claims that his team-mates aren’t getting paid enough by the club.
The London Evening Standard has previously reported that Tottenham are looking to rebuff any approaches made for the 27-year-old this summer in light of interest from the big-spending Manchester United.
It is understood that the England international is flattered by the link, but with what seems to be Daniel Levy’s reluctance to let him leave, he has clearly been left frustrated by his situation in north London.
Tottenham fans have shown that they’re less than pleased with Rose’s interview by going berserk on social media with many strong words to describe the full-back, with one supporter suggesting he is “poisonous”.

Danny has had his head turned. Coming out like this in an exclusive criticising the club shows a lack of class and intelligence.

Massively disrespectful and the weekend the season starts not gonna do the rest of the squad any favours if he leaves he's worse than Walker

Danny Rose, brave enough to go public on transfers, but hasn't the balls to ask for one… & that's all he wants BTW. Snide ???????????????????????? #COYS

The Danny Rose ????
A rather poisonous flower preferring luxurious soil that flourishes in The Sun.
Will grow to 165cm#COYS

So SO disappointed in Danny Rose. Entitled to have his say (and interview in context not as bad as headline) but timing is disgraceful #COYS

Rose hasn’t played for Tottenham since suffering a season-ended injury in January which saw Ben Davies emerge as Mauricio Pochettino’s main man at left-back.
The 12-times England international has made a total of 144 appearances across all competitions for Spurs in his career in north London, scoring nine goals.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs are in pole position to sign this international defender, but Levy isn’t keen on his asking price.
