'Pay the man. He's magic' - Tottenham fans react after reports club set to hike wages
Tottenham Hotspur are set to offer manager Mauricio Pochettino an improved deal from his current contract with the club, according to a report.
As The Telegraph understands, the club are impressed with the progression the club is making under the former Southampton boss and want to reward the 45-year-old for his efforts.
Real Madrid are reported to be waiting in the wings for the Argentinian native and are thought to be keen on taking him to the Bernabeu if things to do not improve under Zinedine Zidane.
Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in their former player.
Poch is currently under contract to the North London club until 2021 after putting pen to paper on a new deal in 2016 which saw him earn £5.5million-per-year or £106k-a-week.
But it is thought Daniel Levy will offer the former defender a new deal with the Lillywhites if he rejects the interest from potential suitors abroad.
Spurs enjoyed a memorable evening on Tuesday in the Champions League, coming from behind to secure a 2-2 draw at Juventus and the club will want more nights like that under Poch.
Supporters of the club are desperate to see their manager renew terms and take them into the new stadium.
After the report, fans took to Twitter to express their feelings on the news and here is a selection of the reaction on social media.
