Tottenham fans issue brilliant Twitter putdown of Piers Morgan after Swansea win
By Dominic Toner
Piers Morgan revealed his disappointment after Tottenham’s win against Swansea on Wednesday night – and the club’s supporters were quick to respond on Twitter.
Celebrity Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan, voiced his frustration after their north London rivals secured a dramatic victory over Swansea.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side fought from one-goal behind to equalise through Dele All in the 88th minute, before Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen secured the points in stoppage time.
“Tiny flicker of happiness tonight, instantly extinguished by Spurs winning at the death,” Morgan wrote on his personal Twitter account.

The result means that Pochettino’s team are 11 points above rivals Arsenal and are focused on competing for the title, while the Gunners are trying to secure a top-four spot.

The two north London clubs have a historic rivalry and they played out a 1-1 draw in the previous meeting this season.
Kevin Wimmer scored an unfortunate own goal in the first-half, before Harry Kane equalised from the penalty spot at the Emirates Stadium.
They will renew their rivalry in the Premier League on 30 April in what is set to be an important fixture and could still meet in the final of the EFL Cup.
Spurs will be focusing on pressurising league leaders Chelsea in pursuit of the title and are seen as the only challenger remaining.
