Tottenham fans were left raving over the performance of Dele Alli in the club’s 5-2 victory over Southampton at Wembley on Boxing Day.

The Lilywhites were in supreme form as they blew past the Saints in their festive fixture, with Harry Kane netting his second hat trick in as many games to break Alan Shearer’s 22-year-old record for the most Premier League goals in a calendar year.

While the England striker will have stolen the headlines with his record breaking performance, Spurs fans were equally as impressed with the display of midfielder star Dele Alli, who set up two of the five goals scored on Tuesday as well as netting himself with a drilled effort past the outstretched fingertips of Fraser Forster.

The Tottenham faithful took to Twitter to pay credit to the 21-year-old, with many stating that he is back to his very best after a series of disappointing displays in recent weeks.
