Tottenham are reportedly pushing hard to sign Galatasaray winger Bruma in a £13million deal – and Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to express their enthusiasm for the pursuit.
Turkish publication Footmac claim the second-placed Premier League side have sent a delegation to Istanbul to hold talks with Galatasaray officials.
It is said that Manchester United also have representatives in Turkey in what is developing into an all-Premier League race for the jet-heeled attacker.
Footmac report that Galatasaray value Bruma, 22, at £12.6million and accept they are facing a losing battle to hang on to the wide man, who is out of contract in the summer of 2018.
Tottenham have been strongly linked with Bruma for months and there have been reports that dialogue with Galatasaray has been ongoing since the January transfer window.
Supporters of the London giants are excited at the prospect of landing an attacker with the potential to pep up their front line, although one compared the pursuit with the endless links a few years ago with Brazil striker Leandro Damiao.

Bruma is great choice but we can use him just 3 years and than he will lose his skills, he’snt smart

Lacked any pace off the bench this season bar Son. Another winger needed. Zaha could be pricey for bench. Bruma second choice. Costa a dream pic.twitter.com/I6rYARWqVI

I hope we get Bruma tbh. Douglas Costa always wishful and Zaha isn’t a 40m player even though I want him.

The north London outfit have been looking to sign top young players to their vibrant side in recent windows and Bruma would fit the profile of the type of player that manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to recruit.
Spurs have also been strongly linked with a winger closer to home, Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, as well as Everton playmaker Ross Barkley and Leicester wide man Demarai Gray.
Bruma has been in fine form for Galatasaray this season, directly contributing to 16 league goals with 10 goals and six assists from 26 matches.
In all competitions, he has scored 10 goals and provided eight assists from 33 fixtures.
Tottenham are second in the Premier League table and their hopes of overhauling leaders Chelsea in the title race have all but evaporated.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have sensationally terminated the contract of one of their emerging stars.
