Tottenham fans react on Twitter after Chelsea announce John Terry is leaving

Chelsea have confirmed that John Terry will leave the club at the end of the season – and Tottenham fans have reacted to the news on Twitter.
The club confirmed on their official Twitter account on Monday afternoon that the 36-year-old will leave Stamford Bridge this summer after 22 years of service.
Terry has seen his game time reduced during this campaign as Antonio Conte’s side chase the Premier League title.

The former England international has only played ten matches in all competitions and has not featured for the London-based club since their 2-0 win against Wolves in the FA Cup in February.
There is the likelihood that Terry could play a part in his side’s FA Cup semi-final clash against Tottenham at Wembley this Saturday.

Some supporters stated that they hope they can ruin his send off by beating them in the FA Cup showdown and possibly lifting the PL title.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are four points behind Terry’s club and they will be looking to close that gap with six matches of the season remaining.

Terry came through the ranks at Chelsea as a youngster and has never played for another club side during his career.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, he made 713 appearances for the club, helping them win the Champions League and four league titles.
He could add another English crown and a sixth FA Cup to his name if Conte’s team can see off Spurs in the title race and be successful at Wembley.
