Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight at claims from Leroy Rosenior that Spurs could already have agreed the signing of Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon this summer.
The former Fulham striker and BBC pundit insisted on the Totally Football Show that “a deal has been done” to sign Sessegnon as he prepares to make a blockbuster summer move to a Premier League big hitter.
Rosenior explained that the dazzling wide man’s “future is already mapped out” amid strong rumours he is heading to Tottenham.
Sessegnon, 17, has emerged as one of the outstanding young players in English football following two eyecatching campaigns for Championship promotion hopefuls Fulham and a series of sensational recent displays, which have yielded five goals from six matches.
Former Fulham defender Sessegnon, who has regularly worked on the BBC as a pundit, does not expect the rising star to remain at Craven Cottage.
“I think that a deal has been done for Ryan as teams have been in for him,” said Rosenior on the Totally Football Show.
“It’s a Premier League side with strong rumours of Tottenham. I wouldn’t be surprised if other sides have been in for him as well.
“He’s stays at Fulham before moving in the summer, his future is already mapped out.”
Tottenham fans are excited about Rosenior’s claims, hailing him as “incredible” and “classy”, and are hoping he does sign with them and not another Premier League competitor instead.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Sessegnon can play anywhere on the flank and swaps between left-back and left midfield on almost a match-by-match basis.
He has scored 12 goals in 32 league matches this season, and also weighed in with four assists, even though over half of those have come in defence.
