'Am I reading it right?' - Tottenham fans react to young guns named to face Leicester
By Harry Sykes
Youthful duo Filip Lesniak and Samuel Shashoua have been named in the Tottenham squad for their Premier League clash against Leicester on Thursday night – and fans have mostly reacted with delight to their selections.
The official Spurs website announced the team on the club’s Twitter account one hour before kick-off and it included central midfielder Lesniak and attacking midfielder Shashoua on the substitute’s bench for the first time.
It is a first taste of senior action for Slovakian Lesniak, 21, and Londoner Shashoua, 18, neither of whom have made the matchday squad before.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has made two changes to the Spurs side that beat Manchester United 2-1 on Sunday, with Moussa Sissoko and Mousa Dembele replacing Kieran Trippier and Christian Eriksen.
Trippier is absent due to concussion, while playmaker Eriksen has dropped down to the bench even though eight players in total are unavailable.

Pochettino has fast-tracked the youthful duo as a result of an end-of-season availability crisis.
In addition to Trippier, senior full-back duo Kyle Walker Danny Rose have joined long-term absentees Erik Lamela and Harry Winks on the sidelines, while youngsters Josh Onomah, Kyle Walker-Peters and Cameron Carter-Vickers, who might have expected to have been given a chance against Leicester, are all at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
In other Tottenham team news, the club have opened shock talks to sign a Barcelona icon who has had a storming season.
