Tottenham fans react to Arsenal humiliation against Bayern Munich

By Amir Mir

Arsenal were beaten 5-1 against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night – and Tottenham fans on Twitter want their manager Arsene Wenger to stay.

The Gunners had lost the first leg at the Allianz Arena by the same scoreline as they suffered yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of the German champions.

Wenger’s side were down to ten men when they were leading the game 1-0, but Laurent Koscielny’s sending off after the break changed the game.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side scored five second-half goals, including a brace from midfielder Arturo Vidal late into the game.

There is no surprise that the club’s north London rivals enjoyed their neighbours getting thumped and losing the tie 10-2 on aggregate.

Wenger, whose contract at the club runs out at the end of the season, has yet to confirm whether or not he will sign a new deal at the club.

However, the White Hart Lane faithful had made their mind up about his future with many asking him to stay.

Some supporters stated that they cannot wait to watch the popular YouTube channel ArsenalFanTV where fans express their frustration or delight after a game.

Overall, the Spurs fans enjoyed their rivals current situation with the Gunners welcoming non-league Lincoln City to the Emirates for an FA Cup clash at the weekend.
