Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Janssen starting v Burnley

By Harvey Byrne

Tottenham fans have aired their delight on Twitter after Vincent Janssen was named in the starting line-up to take on Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

The 22-year-old summer signing has had a troublesome debut season in north London after joining from AZ Alkmaar for £17million.

He has returned just five goals, with one coming from open play in 31 outings for the club and his last league start for Spurs came all the way back in November when he played 68 minutes of his side’s 3-2 win over West Ham.

However, after injury to star Harry Kane and Son Heung-min being used on the international stage for South Korea in the week, Mauricio Pochettino has decided to start Janssen once more at Turf Moor.

A number of fans on social media were also happy with the decision with many showing their excitement to see Janssen back in the team, while others felt his physicality would suit a match like the one against Burnley.
