Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Sissoko display v Burnley
By Harvey Byrne
Attacker Moussa Sissoko played 45 minutes of Tottenham’s 2-0 win against Burnley at Turf Moor – and Spurs fans were very critical of his performance.
The 27-year-old summer signing was brought on just before half time to replace the injured Harry Winks.
It marked his first league appearance for the club since the match against Everton at the beginning of the month and his longest time out on the pitch since December’s 4-1 victory over Southampton where he provided an assist.
However, his appearance on Saturday didn’t bring the same return with much of the Tottenham fan base on social media crucifying the display of the France international.
One fan labelled Sissoko the worst £30million the club had ever spent, while another said it was like playing with 10 men while he was on the pitch.

Sissoko makes Gary Doherty look like Messi.

Sissoko has played 26 times in total for Tottenham since his mega-money summer move from relegated Newcastle.
However, he has returned just four assists in those matches and if his poor displays could see his time at the north London club come to a premature end with four years still left on his contract.
