Attacker Moussa Sissoko played 58 minutes of Tottenham’s 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle on Sunday – and supporters on Twitter were far from happy with his display.
The north London club fought to a 2-0 victory over the Magpies at St. James’ Park with goals from Dele Alli and Ben Davies ensuring Spurs the victory following a red card to Jonjo Shelvey.
However, it needed Sissoko to depart the pitch for South Korean Son Heung-min before Tottenham took the lead and the Frenchman was heavily criticised while he was out on the pitch.
Many on social media were urging Mauricio Pochettino to bring him off before he was replaced by Son, while one went as far as to label him “useless.”

Wonder if any of the Newcastle fans booing Sissoko would like him back, sure it could be arranged? £5 plus a sports direct voucher for kit?

Whatever the question is, Sissoko is never the answer!

Sissoko completed a mega £30million move to Tottenham from Newcastle last summer and Sunday was his first return to St. James’ Park since his departure.
He would have been hoping to impress, but much like last season he looked the odd one out in the Spurs attacker and the record signing may find that his days are running out in north London.
