'Play N'Koudou instead' - Tottenham fans react on Twitter to 27-year-old starting v Leicester

Tottenham fans on Twitter have questioned manager Mauricio Pochettino’s decision to start Moussa Sissoko against Leicester at the King Power stadium on Thursday evening.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder has had a disappointing first season in north London following his mega £30million move from Newcastle in the summer.

His last league start for the club also came all the way back on April 5 during a 3-1 win against Swansea.

However, with Spurs now set for a second placed finish Pochettino has taken the opportunity to experiment with his team and has given a rare start to Sissoko.

But, despite not having anything to play for apart from pride to the club’s support have still expressed their disappointment in seeing Sissoko in the team.

A large number were keen to express that they’d rather had started young attacker Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, while other simply insinuated their disgust.

Sissoko has played in 32 matches for Tottenham in total since his move, returning just four assists.

He will now be hoping to bag his first goal for the club against the 11th placed Leicester on Thursday evening.
