By Harvey Byrne
West Brom attacker Nacer Chadli scored a goal against his former side Tottenham on Saturday – and Spurs fans reacted on Twitter to suggest that it was always going to happen.
The attacking midfielder lined up in an attacking midfield position for Tony Pulis’ side, playing behind Solomon Rondon.
He played 88 minutes against his old side at the Hawthorns before coming off for Craig Gardner, helping to earn West Brom a 1-1 draw with his goal before Dele Alli bagged a late equaliser.
Spurs fans took to social media to comment on their former attacker’s performance, stating that he was always likely to come back to haunt them.

Chadli, 27, left White Hart Lane for the Midlands outfit in the summer for a £13million fee.
The attacker has started life at his new club in impressive form with four goals in his opening five matches for the Baggies.
However, the draw has left Tottenham unbeaten in the league as they currently third place with 18 points from their first eight fixtures.
They will face a difficult contest in the Champions League on Tuesday as they travel to Germany to face Bayer Leverkusen.
