Kyle Walker started the match for Tottenham as they were beaten 1-0 at West Ham on Friday night – and fans on Twitter have questioned his commitment.

The 26-year-old was dropped to the bench for his side’s last match when they beat their north London rivals Arsenal 2-0 on home soil.

Right-back Kieran Trippier had been selected ahead of his teammate for three of Tottenham’s last six matches, prior to the Hammers defeat.

As a result, Pochettino had to deny rumours that he had a falling out with Walker and that he didn’t select him for the “big games”.

Nonetheless, Walker was named in the starting XI at the London Stadium, but he only played 80 minutes as he produced a poor display.

The White Hart Lane faithful slated Walker for showing a lack of heart during the match as many felt that he wasn’t focused during the game.

One fan was concerned that his heart was not in it, while another supporter felt that he only put in a half-hearted display.

Added to that, another Spurs fan was clear that Walker can leave the club because it looks like he doesn’t want to play for them.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Over the course of the season, Walker has played 38 games in all competitions for Spurs, including starting 30 Premier League matches.

He had been a regular feature under Pochettino at the start of the campaign but in recent weeks his form and playing time has dipped.

The north London outfit will play their next match on May 14 when they take on Manchester United on home soil.

In other Tottenham news, Mark Noble has made a huge claim which will cheer the Spurs fans up.
