Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to troll Jack Wilshere for his poor performance on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was also forced off with an ankle injury in the second-half of Spurs' 4-0 win against Bournemouth at White Hart Lane.

He is currently on a season-long loan from bitter North London rivals Arsenal.

Most of the hilarious comments made about Wilshere came when he lost the ball in the build up to Tottenham's second goal of the game and when he was floored by Harry Kane after he tried to block a shot.

A number of ironic cheers rang around the stadium in the 56th minute when he was forced off the pitch.

Wilshere has made 29 appearances in his temporary spell on the south coast after he was let go from the Emirates in a bid for him to prove his match fitness.

However he looks as though he could be set to spend another spell on the sidelines with this latest setback.

Tottenham moved to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea with the win.

Mousa Dembele, Son Heung-Min, Kane and Vincent Janssen were on the score sheet as Spurs preserved their unbeaten home league record.
