Tottenham fans have urged Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha to move to White Hart Lane in January after Alan Pardew lost his job.

The English manager lost his position at the south east London club on Thursday after a poor 2016, which has seen Palace currently occupy 17th place in the league.

Zaha has since paid tribute to his former manager on his personal Twitter account, stating Pardew believed in him when many others didn’t.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Spurs in the summer, while the Sun reported earlier in the month that the north London side had earmarked him for a summer move.

The report also stated that manager Mauricio Pochettino was a “huge fan” and it would appear that the Spurs support is too.

Many fans on social media responded to Zaha on Twitter asking him to join in January, with Tottenham struggling in the attack.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Zaha has bee in impressive form for Palace this season with eight assists and three goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.

His ability is a lot better than a side currently fighting for relegation and he may be looking for a move away as he also looks to break into the Ivory Coast team.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs will reach an agreement with this defender in January.
