Cologne fans descended upon Arsenal on Thursday evening chanting the name of former Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer.
Spurs journalist and podcaster Ricky Sacks reported on his personal Twitter account that an army of supporters of the Bundesliga club were chanting ‘there’s only one Kevin Wimmer’ in homage to the Austria international as they marched through the streets to Emirates Stadium.

Cologne fans were out in force before the Europa League group stage clash against Arsenal, which was delayed due to thousands of them being seated in the home stands.
It was reported that around 20,000 supporters of the German club had made the journey to north London for the group stage opener.
Amusingly, many paid tribute to Wimmer, who not only has strong Tottenham connections but was a firm favourite at Cologne, where he spent three years until his transfer to Spurs in the summer of 2015.
The centre-back, 24, moved to Stoke City for £18million this summer after 31 matches for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
At Cologne, he was a mainstay of the team before his exit and accumulated 73 appearances in all competitions.
