'I've heard Dean Henderson to Tottenham' - Spurs insider
Crystal Palace would be unlikely to grant Dean Henderson a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
That is the opinion of former senior Tottenham scout, Bryan King, speaking exclusively to Football Insider.
The 29-year-old has been linked with the Lilywhites in recent months and there could be a further arrival in goal, should Guglielmo Vicario depart.
Henderson is under contract until 2028 at Palace and was named club captain in January, with a new deal said to be in the works.
A bid from Tottenham could well disrupt those talks, though it remains unclear just how much it would take to bring Palace to the negotiating table.
The Eagles have already lost Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea this summer, just seven months after losing Marc Guehi.
Dean Henderson is the 'answer' for Tottenham
With Vicario seemingly on the way out at Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi appears to have placed his trust in Antonin Kinsky.
The 23-year-old arrived in 2025 and has enjoyed brief runs in the team due to Vicario's injuries.
Last season, the young goalkeeper went from zero to hero. Handed the start away at Atletico Madrid by Igor Tudor, Kinsky made two awful errors and conceded three goals before he was substituted after just 17 minutes.
The Czech stopper did not touch the team again until De Zerbi's arrival, which saw his confidence return in a big way.
Kinsky would start every remaining Premier League game, making crucial stops that kept Tottenham in the top flight. There is no guarantee he keeps that position, however.
"I've heard talk about Henderson, I'm really sure he would be the solution," King told Football Insider.
"He's certainly not a [Gordon] Banks, he's not a [Peter] Shilton, or a [Ray] Clemence. I think Spurs must be on the lookout for a really named goalkeeper for me but where are they?
"Honestly, if you're looking in London, then Henderson would have been the choice but again, I can't see Palace going to be selling all their players. They got rid of the centre-half [Lacroix] for small money, really, didn't they?"

Under Oliver Glasner, Henderson won the FA Cup and was able to lift the Conference League as captain.
In February, he insisted that the squad and him retain "100 per cent full faith" in the Austrian, but he has now left the club.
His replacement, Pierre Sage, is highly rated, but it cannot be ruled out that the switch has unsettled some of the squad.
Should Henderson receive an offer from Tottenham, he may consider it more closely than he would have just months ago.
